Segmentation: No one has an unlimited budget, so we segment the market and find out who can give us the best ROI, and we go after that segment.
What is our strategy?
Targeting: Who is our target market? Are we targeting the grandma who will gift your product to her Grandchildren, or are we targeting the whole market?
Positioning: What is a relative position? Are we more accessible to the customers than the competition? Do our customers see us as a reliable partner? This is where you also run into Branding, log colors, and how your customers and everyone else perceive your brand.
Objectives: What is it that you are trying to do? Are you just launching, so no one knows you, or are you trying to grow your market share?
Strategy dictates tactics. Are you ready to execute?
Market Communication: Anything Promotional: Website, Content Marketing, Video, Direct Mail, Paid/Unpaid social media, SEO, Pay-Per-Click, Outdoor ads, Radio/TV ads, etc.
Distribution: Where is your product distributed? Let’s get it added to Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, etc.
Product: Are you collecting feedback from the customers? Is it being used to improve your product and service?
